Before You Call Streamyx Tech Support…
I faced an internet-streamyx connection problem last 2 week at home.
Baru online 10 min, terus connection cut. Lepas tu, dah tak boleh connect sampai esok.
Tengok kat modem, ‘yellow’ light asyik blinking je. Maknanya, no connection ler tuh..
FYI, kalu ’yellow’ light on dan statik, maknanye your streamyx connection ok.
So apa lagi, Dalam hati, menyumpah, ini sure Line Streamyx la ni yang problem..
Terus call Streamyx Customer service support di talian: 1-300-888-515
Hmm.. support Good. Professional.
Berbeza dgn tanggapan aku dulu, well.. you know lah.. ‘Gomen oriented style’ work macamana.. Aku tak nak touch bab tu.
Within 3 working days, Streamyx hantar technician and my problem resolved..
What I noticed from this incident is, problem with streamyx connection; dalam kes aku ni, sebenarnye owner/aku boleh settle sendiri. Tak payah buang masa & bil telefon nak call support, and buang masa 3 hari lagi nak tunggu technician datang repair.
Kita boleh troubleshoot sendiri...

Aku tak pasti modem brand lain.. yang ini, Telekom yang beri free masa register dulu:
Model: ADSL Modem DB102
Kalu asyik2 no connection, ‘yellow’ light asyik blinking;
1. Off kan modem tu, 30 saat, lepast tu ‘ON’ balik. Kalu still no connection;
2. Pergi rumah jiran, minta pinjam modem dengan charger dia sekali.. INGAT.. dengan charger dia sekali.
3. Pasangkan modem yang anda pinjam bersama dengan charger pinjam itu.
Kalau no connection gak, so memang confirm lah line streamyx di rumah anda atau kawasan taman anda bermasalah.. so telefon lah Streamyx Customer service support di talian: 1-300-888-515.
Kalau ada connection, HAH! Bererti, samada modem anda rosak, or charger modem rosak, or kedua-dua nya sekali.
In my case, hanya charger dia je yang rosak. Sebab, bila technician tu tukar charger baru, ON kan balik modem, terus ada connection.
Reason: Charger tu faulty.. although manage to supply the electricity power to the ADSL modem, tapi dah tak stabil. According to the technician, most probobaly due to kena petir.
Lesson learn: During kilat/ribut petir, PULL OUT your charger from the electric socket. Off modem macam tu saja tidak memadai.
Charger tu pulak boleh cari kat kedai2 IT.. Bagi aku yang malas nak keluar rumah ni, beli je lah kat Bro technician tu..RM10, mahal ke, murah ke, lantaklah.. janji aku dah boleh connect to internet balik.
Kalau confirm modem anda yang problem, buang je modem anda tu dalam lombong or longkang depan rumah, beli je yang baru kat kedai IT, habis citer....
